This 8-hour training is held every other Thursday and provides a thorough overview of flagger responsibilities, temporary traffic control zone setup, signaling tools, safety procedures, and how to handle complex scenarios like intersections and railroad crossings. Taught by experienced instructors, this course is essential for anyone working around roadways, construction sites, or public traffic.

Upon successful completion of the course and passing the open-book exam with 80% or higher, students will receive a Washington State Flagger Certification Card, valid for three years and recognized in Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Class sizes are limited to ensure focused instruction, and advance registration with payment is required to hold your seat. All students must be at least 18 years old and bring a valid photo I.D. on class day.
